This is a beautiful trek through the coniferous forests and green fields and alpine valleys. Most time of the year, you will come across yaks and yak herders camping out in the valleys. You will also encounter beautiful lakes and wildflower meadows treating you to a fantastic experience.
Day 1: Arrive at Paro by Druk Air flight. Our guide will receive you upon arrival. After lunch proceed by car to Thimphu. Evening stroll around in the town.
Night halt: Thimphu
Day 2: After breakfast, head for Bumthang.There would be short stop at Dochhu la to view the distant snow-capped peaks. Lunch at Chendibji. Stop for Tea at Trongsa.

Day 3: (Bumthang – Gorsum)
Distance: 18 km; Time: 6- 7 hrs, Altitude:3100 meters. You would drive till Durr. From Durr you would start your trek following the river for the next couple of hours on easy ground.

Day 4: (Gorsum – Lungsum)
Distance: 12 km; Time: 5 hrs, Altitude: 3160 m. After breakfast, trek through forests mixed conifer forests. It is a gentle climb.

Day 5: (Lungsum – Tshochenchen)
Distance: 15 km; Time: 6-7 hrs; Altitude: 3700 m. Trek through the forest till you reach the campsite which is just at the shrubby forests.

Day 6: (Tshochenchen – Durr Tshachu)
Distance: 17 km; Time: 7 hrs, Altitude: 3400 m. The day would have both climbs and descends. You would be passing by some small lakes. You would go through passes with prayer flags. If weather permits, you can get a grand view of the nearby mountains.

Day 7: (Spend the day at Durr Tshachu)
Take a dip in the Tshachu (hotspring). Wooden bath tubs called Waa is fitted on the ground.
Day 8: (Dur Tsachu – Tshochenchen)
Return Journey Distance: 17 km; Time: 7 hrs; Altitude: 3100 m
Day 9: (Tshochenchen –Gorsum)
Return Journey Distance: 17 km; Time: 9 hrs; Altitude: 3120 m
Day 10: (Gorsum – Bumthang)
Return to road at Durr where the transport would be waiting for you. You are in Bumthang for the night.

Day 11: You would be driving back to Thimphu

Day 12: A whole day sightseeing in Thimphu and visit the notable landmarks of the city – Zilukha nunnery, National Library, Handicrafts Emporium, Memorial Chorten, Textile Museum, and in the evening visit Simtokha Dzong en route to Paro.

Day 13: After breakfast visit Kyichhu Lhakhang en route to see the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong. After lunch, visit the National Museum and take a view of Paro Rinpung Dzong. Spent the evening in the town or visit a Bhutanese farm and meet the locals.

Day 14: You would be transferred to Paro Airport in the morning for your departure.
